A Great Day

• "'And you shall count for yourselves from the day
  after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought
  the sheaf of the wave offering seven Sabbaths
  shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day
  after the seventh Sabbath then you shall offer a
  new grain offering to the Lord.'" (Lev. 2315-16)

  give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and
  whatever you bind on earth will be bound in
  heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be
  loosed in heaven."

• And He said to them, "Go into all the world and
  preach the gospel to every creature. He who
  believes and is baptized will be saved but he
  who does not believe will be condemned...." So
  then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was
  received up into heaven, and sat down at the
  right hand of God. And they went out and preached
  everywhere, the Lord working with them and
  confirming the word through the accompanying

• Then those who gladly received his word were
  baptized and that day about three thousand souls
  were added to them. And they continued
  steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and
  fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in
  prayers.... So continuing daily with one accord
  in the temple, and breaking bread from house to
  house, they ate their food with gladness and
  simplicity of heart, praising God and having
  favor with all the people. And the Lord added to
  the church daily those who were being saved.
