KEY FEATURES
  • Donor support for Elections 2009 will be
    coordinated by the Government of Indonesia
  • Government requested international assistance
    and endorsed Elections MDP
  • Its a multi-year technical assistance
    initiative (2008-2010)

OBJECTIVES
  • Enhance and further consolidate the
    institutional and professional capacities of the
    KPU, its secretariat and its regional offices to
    meet numerous priorities faced both in the
    immediate and longer-term
  • Enhance the quality of participation of voters
    in Indonesias elections
  • Facilitate the Government of Indonesia in
    coordinating international support to elections
    in Indonesia
