    health burden thru Coordination and Collaboration
    of RBM initiative (2000) in Kenya (20m _at_ Risk)

  • Partners MOH,MOE,UNICEF,WHO,bilateral-multilatera
    l,CBO Health Networks,District Health
    Forums,Private Sector
  • ConceptUse NGO network and synergy with aim of
    pooling resources aimed at reducing malaria
    burden-in Kenya

  • Host Annual KeNAAM Fresh Air Conference---Advocacy
    role disseminate, educate, communication, lobby
    for policies
  • Host district field malaria days (thru out the
    year) Host Africa Malaria day 25th April 2006

    sectors esp. business sector, labor movement,
    Federation of Kenyan employers, schools,
    colleges, government agencies
  • 6.Train school teachers on malaria advocacy and
    communication skills.
  • 7.Establish,develop and strengthen malaria school
    health programs.

  • implement the Global Advocacy Strategy
  • Networks provide a united voice, essential for
    lobbying and managing changeand articulating the
    good work done by key stakeholders
