Certainly in one sense, faith is a gift (Mark
924), repentance is a gift (Acts 1118)
But it is claimed that faith is a gift in such a
way as to preclude man from having to do
anything...

Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Acts 237-38 Now when they heard this they were

of the apostles, Brothers, what shall we do?

PERFECT OCCASION TO FIND THE ANSWER, NOTHING!

WHY DIDNT PETER SAY, NOTHING?
And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and
you will be saved, you and your household.
And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for
the forgiveness of your sins, and you will
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Then where did this idea come from??
Why blame man for lack of faith? Mt. 1431 Mt.
