KISS-FM reaches an affluent, highly educated
audience. African Americans make-up 50 of the
City of Birmingham population and 38 of the
Birmingham Metro Counties. The KISS-FM marketing
team works with each advertiser to identify their
needs and develop specific plans to help them
reach those goals. KISS-FMs targeted audience
includes 92 African American, over 50 have
graduated or attended college, 62 own their own
home, and 75 have incomes above the median
income for Jefferson County.

    Monday Friday. Tom and his cast of characters

    pleasant voice sooths the soul and relates one on

  • Talkback- Talkback is Birminghams most listened
    to talk show on 10pm to midnight every Sunday
    Night. Talkback features a diverse in-studio
    panel that includes Birmingham Times columnist

    Williams, featured correspondents Cyrondus
    Jackson and Adrienne Donnell. Talkback creates an

    in the Birmingham market - News Director,
    Reginald Greene, has over two decades of
    experience in the Birmingham market. Reginald
    Greene is assisted by Cyrondys Jackson, Julius
    White and Binnie Myles. Full-time staff
    Meteorologist J.B. Elliott, along with ABC 33/40
    Meteorologist James Spann, has continuous severe
    weather coverage as part of the KISS commitment
    to Birmingham.
  • Severe weather coverage includes the most
    comprehensive school and business closings.
  • Tom Joyner Morning Show features traffic and
    weather every 15 minutes from 5AM until 9AM
    weekday mornings. Newscasts anchored by Reginald

  • Nite KISS hosted by Kim Moore 5 hours of
    classic live songs requests and dedications.
  • Todays black woman daily commentary at 925 AM
    highlighting issues facing black females.

    Request Five Pack Mini Concert and 8PM Love
    Dedication Hour.
  • Specialty program weekends which highlight
    artists, holidays and major events of interest to

THE KISS CRUISER
  • 98.7 KISS-FM offers a full broadcast studio on
    wheels known as the KISS Cruiser. Our
    State-of-the-Art broadcast center is equipped
    with a full studio, digital message center,
    stage, sound and lights.
  • The KISS-FM broadcast fleet includes two
    additional vehicles, a fully equipped Suburban
    and a remote broadcast van.
  • KISS-FM holds annual events targeted to reach the
    African American audience Stone Soul Picnic,
