    meets in the classroom at least 50 of the time
    but less than 100 of the time the remaining
    class time involves structured learning

BHC Hybrid Course Process
  • Departments will submit a request for the
    approval to develop and offer specific hybrid
    sections to the appropriate Dean, who will work
    in coordination with all other Deans to
    coordinate the delivery of a programmatic hybrid
    instructional model at BHC.
  • Upon receiving approval, faculty with the
    appropriate competency will develop the class
    within the hybrid definition and will submit the
    class description and schedule to the department
    for its approval.  The departments review will
    focus on ensuring that the hybrid class meets all
    of  the course objectives.  On the recommendation
    of the department, the department chair will
    forward the hybrid class to the appropriate dean
    for her approval.
