• Hi, my name is Larry OMalley and I live in
  Ireland. Ireland is located in Western Europe on
  the North Atlantic Ocean, west of Great Britain.

• The Capital of Ireland is Dublin and that is
  were I reside. The weather here is mild, the
  average temperature is lowest in JanuaryFebruary
  at 42 F and highest in JulyAugust at 59 F.
  Sunshine averages about four hours a day and we
  have less than ten days of snowfall a year. The
  average annual rainfall is 3040 inches.

• Weather conditions allow me to grow turnips,
  barley, potatoes, sugar beets, and wheat
  successfully on my farm. I also raise cattle for
  beef and dairy products.

• The produce that I grow on my farm allows me to
  make several traditional Irish dishes and they
  are
• Bread Pudding,Brown Soda Bread,Irish
  Stew,Oatmeal Porridge,Potato Cakes,andTea
  Scones.

• Our Irish national holiday is on March 17,
  Saint Patricks Day. On this day it is tradition
  to eat corned beef cabbage, soda bread, and
  shamrock cookies. It is said, if you wear green
  on St. Patricks Day a Leprechaun will take you
  to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

• Another Irish tradition is to write Limerick
  poems and share them with family and friends.
