Freshman Classes of 1999 and 2000

• For a Regents Diploma
• Two credits in science
• Two Regents courses in science
• Pass two Regents examinations or approved
  alternatives

Freshman Classes of 1999 and 2000

• For a Local Diploma students who
• enter Grade 9 will need
• Two credits in science
• Two courses in science, one must be a Regents
  course
• Pass one Regents examination or approved
  alternatives

Freshman Classes of 2001 and beyond..

• Three credits in science
• Two Regents courses in science - one from the
  Living Environment and one from the Physical
  Setting
• Pass one Regents examination or approved
  alternatives

• Starting in 2001 for an Advanced Regents Diploma
  a student will need to
• pass two Regents examinations - one each from
  the Living Environment and the Physical Setting
