Title: Chapter Eleven
1Chapter Eleven LESSON 24
THE TRIUMPH OF THE SERVANT
2What does the illustration of the suit Mr. Graham
bought for his funeral say to you about his
assurance of salvation?
Do you have this assurance?
3The story of Our Awesome Lord reaches its climax
in this grand hope of the ages. The prophets of
the centuries have foretold it and the saints of
all time have longed for it. The Lord Himself
will come!
4The Themes of Revelation
- 1. The letters to the seven churches in Asia.
- 2. Portrayal of the worship Jesus will receive
in heaven, contrasted with the worship evil men
will give Satan on earth. - 3. Identification of the events that will unfold
on earth and in heaven in the last days, marking
the consummation of all things.

reads the Revelation and pays attention to its

8How does the author link the statement
He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit
says to the churches, to Pauls kenosis teaching
in Phil. 25-13?
9Polycarp was told, Curse God and live!
How does Polycarps faithfulness to Jesus Christ
make you feel about your own faithfulness?
10What is a lukewarm church?
11These seven letters demonstrate Jesus passionate
feelings for His church are ongoing. He did not
return to His Father and then forget about His
church. Jesus concern is personal and intimate,
and His knowledge detailed. He will never leave
or forsake His church.
12Rev. 4-19 begins with the rapture of the church
and provides a great study about heavenly
worship. The author has identified nine heavenly
panoramas of great adoration.
13COME UP HERE!
THE RAPTURE
14What is meant by a pretribulation rapture?
15Apostolic Christianity finds its purest incentive
in this blessed hope.
The Rapture
16 The worship in heaven celebrates the mighty
works of God from creation to the Marriage
Supper of the Lamb. Do you have a favorite scene?

174 - Worship Honoring King Jesus Triumphant
Reign
The kingdoms of this world have become the
kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he
will reign for ever and ever (Rev. 1115).
George Frederic Handel 1685-1759 Hallelujah
Chorus of The Messiah
18How, according to the gospel, can a lamb conquer
a lion?
19The 8th worship scene in heaven portrays an angel
defending the fairness of the Lords
judgments. What about you? Do you trust Jesus as
the universal judge to be fair -- to you?
20Valley of Jezreel Site of Armageddon
What is the significance of the Battle of
Armageddon in End-time events?
21Jesus will rule the world from Jerusalem for a
thousand years.
The Mosque of Omar, built on the site of
Solomons temple.
22Phase one of the Lords second coming begins with
Jesus personal appearance in the sky as a thief
in the night to rapture the church.
Are you prepared for His coming?
23The final segment of the Lords appearing will be
at the Battle of Armageddon, marking the second
coming of Jesus Christ to the earth, and
launching His Millennial reign.

Chapter Eleven Lesson 25
THE TRIUMPH OF THE SERVANT
25Lets Talk About
A. The Battle of Gog and Magog B. The White
Throne Judgment
26Were fun loving young adults. What should we
conclude from, There Must Be Some Mistake!
27Jesus triumph in His true manhood happened
because He emptied Himself of the voluntary and
independent exercise of the prerogatives of His
Deity, and submitted to His Father. Jesus served
His Fathers agenda with implicit trust, as
guided by the Holy Spirit.
28Paul told his readers at Philippi the glory for
Jesus achievements really does belong to God
the Father (Phil. 211 1 Cor. 1312).
29The qualities of the Lamb will ultimately emerge
as the values of the New Jerusalem. This is so
true John added two word pictures, temple and
sunlight, to focus the triumphant glory deserved
by the virtues of the Lamb.
30- The study of Revelation closes with
- A Final Blessing
- A Wonderful Invitation
- A Solemn Admonition
31 We noted the Trinity first in the story of the
incarnation. Now the Trinity is portrayed in the
closing chapter of the Sacred Canon. What does
this say to us about the nature of God?
32 FINAL REVIEW
LESSON 26
Although this picture is hard to look at,
everything about the gospel anchors at the
brutal-beyond-description cross of Jesus.
33The Incarnation God became flesh
34Philippians 25-13
Your attitude should be the same as that of
Christ Jesus Who, being in very nature God, did
not consider equality with God something to be
grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the
very nature of a servant, being made in human
likeness. And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself and became obedient to death -
even death on a cross!
359 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
3612 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always
obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more
in my absence -- continue to work out your
salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is
God who works in you to will and to act according
to his good purpose.
37- Acts 1038
- THE APOSTLE PETER
- God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy
Spirit and power, and he went around doing good
and healing all who were under the power of the
devil, because God was with him.
38 Based on this overall study, lets think again
about what it means to work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling.
39Working Out Your Salvation
- Kenosis Thinking What have you emptied out of
your life over these months of study? - Servant Heart Are you growing a servant heart,
like Jesus? - Implicit trust in God How does the Lords
attitude toward His Father fit you? - Credited Righteousness. What does this concept
mean to you now? - The Path of Death Looking back over this study,
what attitude, habit, or stronghold is now dead
and buried in your life?
40Im happy with my life. Why do I need to go to
the cross and work out my salvation with fear
and trembling?
41Working Out Your Own Salvation
- Anchored in the Word of God Victory over
temptation comes as you rely on the Holy
Scriptures that you actively hide in your heart,
as well as the guidance of the Holy Spirit. - Living the life of gratitude We love Him
because He first loved us. - Set Apart Living What has happened to the
spider, the old self? Are you now the bondservant
of Jesus Christ, set apart to His character and
international agenda?
42My business is on its way up and Im living the
good life. Why should I run to the cross of
Jesus?
43WORKING OUT YOUR SALVATION
- Knowing and Doing Have you stopped separating
knowing and doing, so that you are committed to
advance the gospel at home and abroad? - Baptized in the Holy Spirit walking in the
Spirit growing the fruit of the Spirit
manifesting the ministry of Christ in community
through spiritual gifts. Excited about growing
the church. - Longing for His second appearing.
44 Wed like to know Why do we need the cross of
Jesus?
45 As the Servant of His Fathers plan for the
salvation of all people, Jesus completed the
agenda given to Him in the eternal councils of
the Trinity without changing the plan one time,
or even fine tuning it one iota. Jesus has truly
been the faithful Servant. He listened perfectly
to what the Father was saying, and said that and
saw clearly what the Father was doing, and did
that. He never broke faith with His Father, not
even one time. What a Savior!
