Overview
  • Purpose Summarizes the sites facilities and
    infrastructure (FI) planning supporting expected
site missions over a ten year period (FY 06 to FY
    15).
  • Due November 1st
  • Detailed Guidance to be sent out April 5th
  • Consistent with FY 06 IFI Submission in May which
covers FY 04 to FY 10
  • Will replace SCs current requirements for the
Site and Facilities section of the Institutional
Plans and the SC Strategic Facilities Plans.

3

Scope
  • For 2004, focus will be on general purpose FI.
  • Due to the Future of the Laboratories study to be
    undertaken this summer, SC programmatic
facilities may be covered in the 2004 TYSP at the
    discretion of the SC programs.
  • EM has Disposition Plans for their facilities (in
Closure Baseline) in place so they are not
required to be in a TYSP. Therefore, they will
    not be covered.
  • Other than EM facilities, there are only 3 assets
at SC labs identified in FIMS as non-SC. These
are NBL at ANL-E (SSA), building 3019A at ORNL
(NNSA) and building 3047 at ORNL (NE).
Discussions with each of these programs should be
undertaken to determine extent of their coverage.
