Title: STATIONS OF THE CROSS
1STATIONS OF THE CROSS
2The First StationRyan Signorino
3Jesus is Condemned to Death.
- Jesus always thought he was alone.
- He was condemned to death by Pontius Pilate.
- He was going to die on the cross in front of
lots of people.
- Jesus was sad.
- He gave his apostles the last supper, and gave
them bread, his body, and wine, his blood, for
them to eat.
4How Does This Apply to Me?
- Ive been angry at someone before, and I would
want to be more calm like Jesus. If people
screamed and yelled at me, I would be
embarrassed. If people lied about me then I would
be sad and mad at that person
- Ive heard the Stations of the Cross a lot, and I
would want to be as calm as Jesus, knowing he
would die, he knew God would help him through
this, and I hope that God helps me when I am
angry or sad at people.
5Prayer for the First Station
- Dear God, help me when I know that I will die,
and know that I may never see some of my friends
ever again. Help me find the way to heaven to
live with you forever and ever. Help me stay away
from Saten and not listen to him when he speaks.
Help me Lord. Amen.
6The Second Station of the Cross
7What Is Happening In This Station?
- Jesus, as you accepted your cross, you knew you
would carry it to your death on Calvary. You knew
it wouldn't be easy, but you accepted it and
carried it just the same.
8What Does That Have To Do With Me?
- I think this station might show me and others how
to accept things we must . Just like Jesus had to
do when he accepted his cross.
- Jesus knew what he had to do and he accepted that
, he knew what he was doing and why he was doing
it . He did this for his people.
9My prayer
- Jesus I honor you above all things for your
pride, courage, and honesty.

a cross. - The cross was made out of wood and very heavy.

41Jesus suffered on the cross.
- Jesus was nailed to the cross to suffer.
We laughed at him while he was in pain. His hands
and feet were nailed on the cross. His blood
stained the it. Because he died and suffered on
the cross he took away our sins. We are still
today sinful people but since Jesus suffered on
the cross we are now forgiven every time we sin.
42What this means to us today
- Today, when we are in pain we can think of Jesus
on the cross. How he suffered is worse than any
pain we could ever be in. - We can also think about when we sin. We are
forgiven when we sin. Because Jesus suffered and
died on the cross we now are forgiven.
43My Prayer
- Jesus, You suffered on the cross to take
away our sins. God sent you, his son to us so
that we may learn of him. But instead we
crucified you our savior.Lord help us when we are
suffering that we might know that you suffered
too. But not only that you were suffering but
that you suffered for us. Today we pray to God
that he might take away our sins. Lord take away
my sins. -
Amen

and a love ready to embrace you in your utter
helplessness, like your Mother, who once more
