• Singular and Plural Possessives

Apostrophe Placement for Singular Nouns

• Add 's to the singular form of the word (even if
  it ends in s as long as the extra syllable is
  pronounced)
• Examples
• the Presidents address
• Jamess tablet (Added syllable is pronounced)
• If the word ends in s and the extra syllable is
  not pronounced (or if it otherwise looks
  confusing to add apostrophe -s), simply add an
  apostrophe.
