Homestake exceptions for disabled people

• can be Home owners - don't need to be First
  Time Buyers
• income levels are not restricted
• can purchase a stake in a property as low as 51
• not restricted to properties which have only 2
  bed spaces larger than their need

Need for a specialist service

• RSLs may not have day-to-day contact with
  disabled people
• RSLs may not have an understanding of
  benefits-based mortgages
• Ownership Options is fully aware of the housing
  issues facing disabled people
• We already work with and can help identify
  eligible clients

  strategies and developments for Homestake
