Congressional Budget ResolutionWill there be
enough to restore funding again this year?
  • 2.2 trillion budget resolution
  • Resolution allows for 784.4 billion in
    discretionary spending compared to last years
    792 billion spending level.
  • Function 250 general science and space account
    (NASA, NSF, and DOE Science) is set at 23.9
    billion, which would accommodate a 324 million
    increase for NSF and a 100 million increase for
    energy science above the presidentially requested
    levels
  • Function 270 energy supply research is set at
    2.6 billion
  • Function 300 the majority of activities at the
    Department of the Interior is set at 29.3
    billion
