Cleanup Team
  • Creating a document of what to look for from
    the Phase II Cleanup reports.
  • Developing a Phase II Cleanup checklist for
    libraries to complete and return to DASites staff
    when the checklist is completed.
  • Compiling a needs/observations list to pass along
    to the Conversion Team to assist with cleanup
    process.
  • Continuing to evaluate and test DAS and Union
    Dedupping processes.

Conversion Team
  • Required fields from item record General
    location, collection code, and call number
    items will not load into Sirsi K-12 without them.
  • 2. Sirsi K-12, unlike MultiLIS, has two levels of
    item information
  • a) Callnum Building, prefix, call number,
    and class scheme (new).
  • b) Copy Barcode, copy number, price,
    collection, status, material type.

Conversion Team
  • 3. Overlay issueProtected and Junk Tags
  • Protected 505, 526, 590, 658 These tags
    retained and added to new record.
  • Junk 060, 070, 261, 262, 850, 9XX These tags
    are junked during conversion Document Type and
    Subject Key also junked after data copied to MARC
    record.
  • 4. Notify DASite of location of awards notes,
    funding source, reading programs, etc.

Policies Team
  • We reviewed policies and have a better
    understanding of how they work.
  • We have generated a questions list from librarian
    and team input.
  • We discussed our need for a list of items that
    would need to be entered by DASite and how to put
    together the circ maps.

  • We discussed the training that would be needed
    and would appreciate a detailed agenda of that
    training and dates as soon as possible.

  • Provided overview of reports from librarian
    account vs. admin account.
  • Prioritized list of reports, within each group
  • Developed a most commonly used report list.
  • Began review of selection and sorting criteria
    and comparable content to MultiLIS reports.
  • To be completed by July 15.

  • Circulation Report Selection.
  • Cataloging Report Selection.
  • Statistical Data.
