Site investigation

• Initial site investigation site found, talking
  to land owners and neighbours, gaining Town
  Planning Permit.
• Wind mast installed

The wind mast is used to collect data on maximum,
minimum and average wind speeds every data. This
is the data produced for January 9 -30 in 2001.

Construction phase

• Roads built A local contractors was employed to
  build the roads. The building phase can employ up
  to 90 people.

• First foundation completed

• Towers erected

The towers and foundations were made at Keppel

tonnes each) arrive from Denmark. RIGHT Nacelle

Running the wind farm

• Maintaining the wind farm requires 2 full time
  employees maintaining the turbines an
  electrical engineer and a fitter and turner.
  Generally there are 2 people per 30 turbines.
