Objective 1  Improve Strategic Planning and
Coordination

• Multiple coordination meetings with partners.
• SAIDR team meetings, RRC Task Force, and SAIDR
  web site task force meeting, designated web site
  coordinators.
• Continuous feedback to National AI coordinating
  committee through SIS, and MOHP.
• Ongoing compilation of AI communication and
  training
• materials and placing them on the SIS Resource
  center, and the SAIDR web site.

• Rapid Response Communication (RRC) following AI

  times and areas of outbreaks
• A Rapid Response Communication task force was
  convened to discuss streamlining and sustaining
  RRC Activities implemented to follow avian
  infection cases
• RRC Activities implemented in Minya, Gharbia,
  Fayoum, Assiut, Menofia, and Sharkia

  nationwide.
• AI Spots continued to air on Superjet intercity
  buses.
• Scaling up the AI-Free Village initiative to
  AI-Free
• Governorate effort initiated in Dakahlia
  governorate under the auspices of the Governor of
  Dakahlia. A draft AI-Free
• Governorate plan has been developed and will
  be finalized and implementation will start during
  next quarter
• Conducted Training of local CDAs from different
  governorates on AI
