Project Overview

• Scope statement 1 Sell bakeries and raise money
  for computer room
• Scope statement 2 Produce a detailed planned
  project proposal to be presented to the UV Board
  of Management
• Scope Statement 3 To collect printers from UV
  residents and local companies to be donated for
  the computer room

• Flyers were posted
• Email was sent out to UV residents
• Event held on 30th November,
• 10 am-4 pm
• Inquiry letters sent to local computer companies

• - OfficeMax

Projects success/failure

• Project failed to meet the success criteria laid
  out initially
• Collected a total of 1 printer only
• Sponsor not satisfied printer
• not suitable to be placed in the
  computer room

Lesson Learned

• Make thorough research before choosing a project
• List down potential risks or project barriers
• Meet with sponsor regularly
• Always have a back up plan

What went right???

• Sponsor still wanted us to continue with the
  project
• Were able to proceed with the project
• Final planning and execution process went on
  smoothly

What went wrong??

• No approval from Upper management to sell on
  University grounds
• Had to change our scope statement several times
• Plan behind schedule due to changes in the
  project scope
• Number of printers received is unsatisfactory
• Sponsor not satisfied-Printer not usable
