Getting to know and Impression about ADI project

• Took part in the activities of NGO GPP project of
  CCC
• Got direct email communication from CCC

• Reason for applying for the ADI course
• No experience in doing research and analysis
• ADI focuses on that skill (research and
  analysis) and
• Provide scholarship opportunity

• Design research and collect information
• Data tabulation and analysis
• Analyze main findings and identify causes and key
  problems
• Making conclusion and recommendations
• Report write-up

Lessons-Learnt from the Course

• Gain knowledge about analysis/research (thinking,
  reading, writing, presenting)
• Learn more the problem/need of community we work
• Have more skills to analyze other projects in
  organization
• Analyze globalization problem that affect to
  Cambodia and community
• Have more information that was necessary for
  developing project proposal

• Health Problems
• 83 are aware of the possible dangers at the
  workplace (such injury and respiratory problems)
• 74 do not have mask protection
• Get health care from private clinic or pharmacy
• Income
• 87 earn the money to support the family.
• 30 earn the money for pay back their familys
  loan
• Education
• 60 spend time 5- 8 hours at the workplace.
• Only 52 attend public school/ not regular

Link between CBA and Project Proposal

• Make use of the results to provide background
  information for developing proposal
• A one-year proposal with total budget of 50,000
  USD was funded by a donor from Germany
• The proposal focused on
• Improving health by bringing the scavengers
  children for medical check twice a year
• Providing credit and life-skill to the childrens
  parents
• Provide support for their education
