What is Industrial Training?
CTP aims to have graduates who are programmers
ready to adapt to the work environment.

• Industrial Training is
• a non-credit course offered during every Fall
  semester
• an important part of CTP Curriculum
• a graduation requirement

If you do not complete your IT before you
complete your courses, you may not take part at
the Graduation Ceremony with your friends!

Objectives of IT

• Taking part in the business environment,
• Applying the programming knowledge and experience
  gained during the first year,
• Understanding requirements of the industry,
• Learning and experimenting with new topics.

Requirements for Application

• Successful completion of the first year
  curriculum (i.e. standing is not Repeat),
• No F grades from the courses CTP101 and CTP105,
• Successfully completing the courses CTP102,
  CTP106, CTP108 and CTP118 during the spring
  semester.

IT Calendar

• Meet with students for students
  preferences (March 9)
• Send letters to companies (February)
• Wait for company responses (April 30)
• Assign companies to students (May 16)
• Approval by advisors (May 27)
• Write letters to companies (May 30)

Rules and Regulations

• Uninterrupted thirty (30) work days six (6)
  week - in the same organization
• Week-end work not considered
• Programming project necessary
• Daily recording required
• Informing the department about all changes and
  problems
• Company gt Start and end dates
• Leave of absence gt Medical reports

• Achievement of the goals
• Feedback of the organization
• Follow-up calls and visits
• Industrial Training File and presentation
• Advisors appraisal
• Decision of the Industrial Training Committee

Stajda is hayatini ve gerçekleri gördüm ve
hiç bilmedigim bir çok seyi, kimi zaman kendi
kendime, kimi zaman çevremdeki insanlardan
ögrendim. Kisiler arasi iletisimin de en az iyi
programlamayi bilmek kadar önemli oldugunu

Staj yaptigim yer insanlar, çalisma ortamini
ve mezun olduktan sonra neler yapmam gerektigini
ögretti. Bunun yaninda okulun ne kadar rahat ve
güzel oldugunu anladim Özge Bayatli ...
Belirtmekte fayda gördügüm bir sey de, CTP ne
ögretirse ögretsin, simdiden kendime yatirim
yapmaya baslamazsam ilerde iyi bir yerlere
gelemeyecegimden eminim. Tabiki ulasamak
istedigim yer benim amacim ve bu amacima
ulasacagima inaniyorum. Tabi yine en büyük
yardimcim CTPnin adi ve hocalarim

Çalistigim yerde , takildigim konuda
düsünmeden yanima çagirabilecegim ne bir assitan
vardi ne de anlamadim dedigimde defalarca anlatan
ögretmenler. Sadece ben ve bir sürü kalin kitap
vardi. Peki ne mi ögrendim bu staj dönemi
boyunca, gerçekten içime sinen su oldu, artik
kitaplarla çalismayi, arastirmayi ögrendim. Kendi
kendime ögrenmenin ne kadar faydali oldugunu,
basaramadigim seylerle önce kenimin bas etmesi
gerektigini, insan iliskislerini. Esin Ayhan
