What is Industrial Training?
CTP aims to have graduates who are programmers
ready to adapt to the work environment.

• Industrial Training is
• a non-credit course offered during every Fall
  semester
• an important part of CTP Curriculum
• a graduation requirement

If you do not complete your IT before you
complete your courses, you may not take part at
the Graduation Ceremony with your friends!

Objectives of IT

• Taking part in the business environment,
• Applying the programming knowledge and experience
  gained during the first year,
• Understanding requirements of the industry,
• Learning and experimenting with new topics.

Requirements for Application

• Successful completion of the first year
  curriculum (i.e. standing is not Unsuccessful),
• No F grades from the courses CTP101 and CTP105,
• Successfully completing the courses CTP102,
  CTP108 at the end of the semester.

IT Calendar

• Meet with students for students
  preferences (February 24)
• Send letters to companies (February)
• Wait for company responses (April 30)
• Assign companies to students (May 11)
• Approval by advisors (May 22)
• Write letters to companies (May 25)

Rules and Regulations

• Uninterrupted thirty (30) work days six (6)
  week - in the same organization
• Week-end work not considered
• Programming project necessary
• Daily recording required
• Informing the department about all changes and
  problems
• Company gt Start and end dates
• Leave of absence gt Medical reports

• Achievement of the goals
• Feedback of the organization
• Follow-up calls and visits
• Industrial Training File and presentation
• Advisors appraisal
• Decision of the Industrial Training Committee
