    reported that they were prescribed medication to
    manage their cholesterol
  • 28 paid more attention to prescription drug
    advertisements after the screening event
  • 60 of those surveyed would return at least once
    or twice a year for screening 37 even more
    often

    are a good place to learn about health and health

    screening services

    services for those retailers who are interested
    in screening themselves in partnership with
    organizations that will train pharmacists
  • Link education about OTC statins to screening
    programs performed in other venues e.g. Employers
  • Develop health educational resources, with OTC
    statin companies, to distribute during counseling
    to insure appropriate consumers consider OTC
    statin utilization.
