Summary

• Bobby Pendragon, a normal fourteen year old boy
  is caught catching his first kiss from his
  childhood crush, Courtney Chetwynde, when his
  infamous Uncle Press comes hysterically into his
  house of tiny Stony Brook. Just before he is set
  to play point guard on this schools basket-ball
  team, while playing their final game of the
  season. Bobby is dragged from his tiny home and
  brought down to the Bronx, New York. His Uncle
  Press escorts him to an old subway station that
  has been long ago, shut down. Together they
  venture into the dark dead subway tunnels soon
  bumping into a shape shifting evil villain,
  named, Saint Dane. This encounter leads into a
  shoot out between Saint Dane and his Uncle Press.
  Well Uncle Press tries his best to fend off Saint
  Dane, Bobby runs deeper Into the dark subway
  tunnels. Eventually he bumps into a door, a door
  with a star burned into it. A star door that his
  Uncle explained to him on their way down into the
  beat down, Subway. Walking into a place where he
  thought would be save until the gun duel was
  over, was rudely interrupted by a Flume that
  flumed Bobby and his Uncle into a whole new world
  of mess and adventure.

  book is a imaginary ride. Your body is left in
  reality, while your mind is carried throughout
  the world of Denduron, which is a place not on
  earth. D.J.McHale, the writer and creator of the
  Pendragon series, also wrote four installments
  that can be found and read now.

My Opinion

• Everything about this book I liked, from the
  characters to the storyline, just basically
  everything. It was a real page turner. A very
  good book and a nice read. I couldnt out it
  down. I highly recommend it for all readers. This
  book series definitely beats wands and rings any
  day.
