3HEB 17 In speaking of the angels he says, "He
makes his angels winds, his servants flames
of fire." n
4HEB 18 But about the Son he says, "Your
throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your
kingdom.
5HEB 19 You have loved righteousness and hated
wickedness therefore God, your God, has set
you above your companions by anointing you
with the oil of joy." n
6HEB 110 He also says, "In the beginning, O
Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
7 HEB 111 They will perish, but you remain
they will all wear out like a garment.
8HEB 112 You will roll them up like a robe
like a garment they will be changed. But you
remain the same, and your years will never
end." n
9The God whom we serve is the creator of all that
is and He is Awesome and Mighty. This God sends
His servants out into the presence of humanity -
10And they carry out His will with absolute
finality.
PS 10320 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey
his word

14Jesus is the one who now rules from His heavenly
throne, and the angels do what He says!
Under the Old Covenant they were to obey or
else! Deut.281ff
15We too are covenanted to Jesus who is our Lord
and God.

16Failure to obey under the old brought curses upon
not only the people but upon their belongings,
their livestock, their land and their future
generations.
17Under the new we can expect what?
