The Grand Canyons beauty and sheer massiveness
was incredible. It was unlike anything I had
ever seen. I am in awe that the Grand Canyon,
Harvard, and Washington, D.C. are all in the same
country The Killam Fellowship has really opened
my eyes to how much geographical, political and
cultural diversity the U.S. has to offer. -
Christian van der Pol, 2006-2007 Killam Fellow
6Mobility Program
- Spring Seminar in the United States
- Academic Workshops
- Cultural Activities
I greatly enjoyed the Spring Seminar in
Washington, D.C., and the opportunity to see the
capital of the United States... It was exciting
to visit the Smithsonian and to see the Mall so
many monuments and so much heritage all in one
place. Visiting the capital informed and
increased my appreciation of American culture, an
appreciation I hope to share beyond my return to
Canada. - Margaret Leighton, 2005-06 Killam
