  hundreds of genes
• Chimps/apes have 24 pairs, humans have 23. Our
  2 is their 2A 2B fused together

• Primate chromosomes have special sequences at
  the tips, generally not occurring elsewhere.
  These are observed also in the middle of human
  chromosome 2.
