Our Problem

• Does our major affect our GPA/studious side?
• Do science majors spend more time on instant
  messaging/social side?

Finding an Answer

• We want to use the different data that we have
  collected on GPA of students and hours students
  spend instant messaging to find out if there is a
  difference in the studious and social side of
  students with different majors
• We used a dependent analysis because we wanted to
  see whether being social or studious depended on
  the populations
• We used a Z distribution because our sample size
  is greater than 30

Conclusion

• From our experiment we could not determine a
  significant affect between GPA and
  science/non-science majors.
• We observed that science and non-science majors
  may spend the same amount of time on instant
  messenger.
