Basketball Camp Counselor Samuel Holz
Samuel Holz loves everything about basketball.
When hes not playing, he enjoys coaching youth
basketball teams. From 2005 to 2011, Samuel Holz
coached basketball teams at Kent Denver Summer
School. In this role, he taught children aged
7-14 the fundamentals and theory of basketball.
Samuel Holz thoroughly enjoyed this role, as he
was able to share his love of the sport with his
campers.

Samuel Holz Former Participant on MUTV
During his studies at the University of Missouri,
Samuel Holz participated in the student-run
television network entitled MUTV. Samuel Holz
conducted interviews and reported stories about
the universitys sports teams. He also performed
research for MUTVs stories, and prepared
assignments for the station. Samuel Holz enjoyed
bringing the news to his fellow students, and his
love of journalism has continued through
subsequent schooling.

Samuel Holz is currently studying Communications
at the University of Colorado at Boulder with a
minor in Political Science. For years, he has
been interested in the field of communications,
particularly as it relates to sports
broadcasting. Prior to the University of
Colorardo, Samuel Holz attended the University of
Missouri School of Journalism, where he completed
coursework towards a Bachelor of Journalism
degree.
