Judge Paul Hawkes The First Amendment
Former Judge Paul Hawkes understands how
important the First Amendment is to the
protection of Americans rights to Free Speech
and an important part of that right is the right
to Petition Government. Former Judge Paul Hawkes
recently had the opportunity to defend a clients
First Amendment rights in court. As one of the
attorneys representing Eugene Jacobson, former
Judge Paul Hawkes successfully challenged
attorney fees limits that had been set in 2009.

Government
Former Judge Paul Hawkes has enjoyed success in
all three branches of government. Besides serving
as a judge from 2003-2011, former Judge Paul
Hawkes has also served as a State Representative
in the Florida state Legislature, and as a
political appointee in Governor Jeb Bushs
administration. Former Judge Paul Hawkes is proud
of the public service he has provided over the

policy and budget (OPB) of former Florida
Governor Jeb Bush. Former Judge Paul Hawkes
served as one of the Deputy Directors in the

many of the reforms Governor Bush pursued. .
Former Judge Paul Hawkes, as Efficiency Czar,
proposed the outsourcing of personnel pay and
benefits, and prison food services.
