What is exercise?
Exercises are any activities that helps to
maintain overall physical fitness of the body and
it helps us to maintain a healthy life. Exercises
helps to reduce body weight, it helps to
strengthen our muscles ,it also helps to keep our
heart functioning properly and most importantly
in any kind of joint pain exercising regularly is
the foremost medication. An exercise keeps away
the stress of our daily hectic life, helps to
keep mental peace, and helps to avoid any kind of
depression. Exercises does not mean only doing
workouts, exercises also includes gardening,
walking, swimming and even cycling.

Benefits of exercise
There are many benefits of doing regular
exercise. Most importantly exercises helps to
maintain a proper balanced body weight. Doing
regular exercises, taking steps rather than using
lifts and elevators helps to burn more calories.
Exercises not only helps to reduce body weight it
also keeps us firm and helps to maintain the
reduced body weight. Secondly exercises helps to
avoid any kind of heart diseases, it helps to
reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. It helps
to avoid diabetes, arthritis and even mental
sickness. Thirdly doing proper exercise uplifts
our mood and gives us energy to stay active.
Exercises provide oxygen and necessary nutrients
to our bones and tissues. This in turns helps our
heart and lungs function in a proper manner.

Exercises, its types and its uses
Normally we avoid doing exercises when we are in
pain. But exercises helps to lessen the pain and
helps us to stay active. Regular walking is one
of the best exercises. The next helpful exercise
is swimming. Swimming helps to reduce the pain of
osteoarthritis or any kind of pains related to
the joints. Next beneficial exercise is doing
yoga. Yoga helps to reduce chronic pain. Certain
breathing exercises of yoga helps people who have
asthmatic problems. It also helps in purifying
our blood and increases the metabolic rate thus
helps in reducing weight. Chinese martial arts
are a very food exercise that helps in
maintaining body balance, helps in maintaining
strength.

A very important and new exercise that helps in
recovery of back pain is known Pilates. But
proper training should be taken to do these
exercises because any wrong movements can have
adverse effects. Simple stretching helps to
mobilize all the body parts. It is very helpful
for people whose work involves sitting for a long
time. It helps to reduce pain in the spines and
also low back pains. Weight training is another
very helpful exercise for people who are
suffering from arthritis. This helps in reducing
the stress in the joints of the affected area.

Often doing exercises leads to pain. It is very
important to consult a doctor before taking up
any exercises. Because all types of exercises are
not recommended to everybody. So proper training
by a good trainer is also mandatory. Doing
regular exercises maintaining a proper diet and
following healthy lifestyle make life feel good.
