recycling oil. Oil is a dangerous product. It is

energy to provide electricity to a home for 24
hours. That is an extreme amount of energy saved
for only 2 gallons of oil. Think of that in terms
of what happens when oil is not recycled. Those
24 hours of electricity is used up in the form of
energy to process new oil. That seems rather
wasteful. Recycling oil also helps to prevent it
from getting leaked into the environment where it
is very harmful to plants, animals and people.

How to recycle?

Recycling oil can be pretty easy for some. You
probably already collect it in an oil pan when
you drain it from your motors. You can then take
the collected oil and drop it off at an
automotive center, repair shop or oil and lube
shop. You simply drop it off and they handle the
rest. When it is recycled it can be used as a
base for new oil products. This also lowers the
amount of new oil needed, which is good since oil
is a precious commodity and something we risk
running out of in the future. Recycling oil just
makes sense for everyone. You have so many
reasons to do it and the benefits are great. One
of the main reason is of course, save our planet
from further pollution. There really are no
reasons not to recycle your oil. After all you
already are aware you have to collect it and can
not just let it run off onto the ground when you
are draining it from your motor. What better way
to easily dispose of it then taking it to a drop
off center so it can be recycled?
