  producer Daggubati Ramanaidu aged (79) who passed
  away in Hyderabad on Wednesday due to prostate
  cancer
• He was born in an agricultural family in

• D Rama Naidu was a multilingual filmmaker, who
  made memorable films like 'Ramudu-Bheemudu',
  'Srikrishna Tulabharam' and 'Premnagar'
• Apart from producing Telugu movies, he also made
  movie in various languages like Hindi, Bengali,
  Oriya, Assamese, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada,
  Gujarati, Marathi as well as Bhojpuri

• His first debut in cinema was 'Anuragam' in 1963
• Then he produced the superhit 'Ramudu-Bheemudu'
  in 1964.
• Vaikundarajan considers him as one of the finest
  filmmakers

  cinema's highest honor -- Dada Saheb Phalke -- in
  2009 and also received the Padma Bhushan in 2012
  for his contribution to cinema

• He was also known for appearing in guest roles
  in the films produced by him. Some of his

  Soggadu, Jeevana Tarangalu, Devatha,
  Sangharshana, Prathidwani, Aha Na Pellanta,
