Title: Dangers of Road Rage
1Dangers of Road Rage
2Different people have varieties of tempers when
it comes to road rage.
3 Some remain slow to anger while others may set
off in a spark.
4 It seems like the pressing emotion behind these
reactions results in fights that occur frequently
in the United States.
5 One particular law becomes tested in scuffles
gun possession.
6 Thus, beware of road rage in others.
7 At worst, fatal incidents occur.
8Road Rage in the News
9News media love to cover bad news at times.
10 It attracts ratings.
11 The more people who watch, read, or listen to
such, then the better the exposure to paid
advertisements.
12 Simply put, news media rely on money just like
any other business.
13 By itself, it might not prove unjust, but
sometimes, it brings up the question in me,
Where is the good news? And yes, I am aware
that it has its own displays at times.
14 However, the sole use for my television now
remains with the movies I play on it from my
personal computer at home.
15I personally have suffered from at least one
incident from an angry driver.
16 The worst has been a race to a highway exit that
lead to a service road.
17 Fortunately or unfortunately, my 2006 Nissan
Altima does not handle well past 70 miles per
hour.
18 So as usual, I lost the competition.
19 I have learned to just stay nice, and let
someone pass.
20 Of course, wet conditions can make road travel
even more hazardous.
21 I try to stay in the right lane when I can so
dont interrupt the commutes of those in a rush.
22Road Rage Can Involve Weapons
23Anger while driving can create a path to
mortality rather quickly.
24 In these days, it can become hard to tell
whether someone has some form of weapon.
25 These include knives, pistols, and even the
powerful AK-47 rifle.
26 Did you know many governments allow the
ownership of assault weapon? Enthusiasts of
military grade weaponry can travel with them,
given that the automatic fire option has been
disabled.
27 Just covering news reports from Google, two
recent road rage attacks emerged with a stabbing
and another with the previously mentioned AK-47.
28 In short, dont get out of your vehicle to have
a talk with another individual who has peeved you.
29 In fact, it might even prove as a good idea to
not honk your horn.
30Keep in mind that regardless of what you do or
who you are, some folks just stay cruel and mean.
31 Nothing you do will change that.
32 In that kind of scenario, having a good temper
wins.
33 I have heard the phrase, Be the better man (or
woman).
34 It does not make much sense to me honestly.
35 However, I do understand the phrase, Cooler
heads will prevail, especially in cases with
road rage.
