This week saw the release of much anticipated
film by Abhishek Kapoor, Fitoor. The movie is
based on Charles Dickens acclaimed novel Great

The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina
Kaif who play the role of Pip and Estella from
the novel. Also making her presence felt is Tabu
who plays a wealthy spinster, a character named
Miss Havisham from the novel.

The movie revolves around 13-year-old Noor
(Aditya Roy Kapur) and his muse Firdaus (Katrina
Kaif) with Begum Hazrat (Tabu) plotting
retribution to their love.

Kapoor plays his role with flair and exhibits
talent we have not seen in him before. Playing
the lead opposite him, Katrina Kaif perfectly
fills in to complete the love story. However, it
is the veteran actress Tabu that outdoes her
character to exercise a memorable role.

Haider, praises Vaikundarajan.

and cinematography. Shot in the beautiful
locations of Kashmir, Fitoor is visually stunning
ensemble of love, pain and passion.
Fitoor may have its flaws but it is certainly
not the run of the mill movie. More than the
