  • A lot of my thought process on fat loss and fat
    loss workouts comes from strength and
    conditioning background as well as a physiology
    background. I'm not big into a lot of the stuff
    that you read in the muscle magazines. Reason
    being is because a lot of that crap they spew is
    extremely outdated, most often backed by
    genetically gifted, drug abusing bodybuilders.
  • Granted physiology is physiology, but when it
    comes to dropping pounds of fat, having extra
    pharmaceutical help makes a big difference in
    your physique. If you take a look at professional
    athletes in sports such as track and field and
    football, they usually posses amazing physiques
    that the average gym rat would love to have.
  • They tend to be highly muscular with a visible 6
    pack. If you look at their training programs,
    most do not train like bodybuilders. They train
    as athletes with fast explosive movements. A lot
    of top trainers are beginning to recommend these
    types of workouts for fat loss and while dieting
    since muscle break down won't be as much due to a
    decrease in training volume per muscle group.

  • However, the amount of calories you will be
    burning during the session and after will be
    increased, thus increasing the amount of belly
    fat you will be losing. Below, is a sample
    workout that I designed for a client looking to
    lose a decent amount of belly fat. Understand
    though, if your diet is not in check, then your
    results will be sub-optimal.

    stomach fat as fast as you can. The layer of fat
    that's covering your abdominal muscle must be
    reduced for you to see any muscular definition in
    your abs. In this article I want to share 5 ways
    to burn stomach fat fast. I hope that you'll take
    action and use them all to get flat abs quickly.
  • Eat protein in your breakfast - Including a good
    dose of protein in your breakfast is very
    important for fat loss. Protein helps you remain
    full for many hours and keeps your appetite in
    check. It is therefore, very beneficial for
    weight loss purposes. If you're going to be
    burning fat, you will also enjoy the metabolism
    boosting affects of protein.

  • Do legs, back, and chest strength workouts - I
    know that this may seem counter-intuitive since
    it's belly fat that you're trying to burn off
    here, but the more muscle tissue you have, any
    where on your body, the faster you burn calories
    and fat. This includes belly fat. Your goal
    should be to increase muscle mass, and you don't
    have to be bulky for this to be effective.
    Working on your bigger muscle groups more than on
    your smaller ones makes a lot of sense as you're
    able to put on more muscle mass which will lead
    to a higher metabolism and more fat burning.
  • Reduce stress - This is something that most
    people don't know about but research has
    connected stress to an increased abdominal fat
    storage. This means that tension can make your
    stomach bigger. By reducing stress you will make
    it easier for your body to eliminate the fatty
    abdominal cells. You will also do yourself a huge
    favor health wise.
  • Drink more water - Most of us don't drink nearly
    enough water as we should. We may not even feel
    it but we could do with a lot more. Water helps
    regulate your internal functions and to regulate
    hunger. 8 glasses of water each day, at a bear
    minimum, is a good rule of thumb to go by.

  • Do interval cardio - While a lot of people know
    about the way cardio helps you burn fat, there is

    way to burn fat with cardio. It is also more time
    efficient. Stop doing all those cardio videos or
    using any of the abdominal machines that are sold
    on late night commercials. The only type of

    you boost your metabolic rate, your weight loss
    will be a snap.
