endoscope is inserted inside the nose, offering
an inside view of the sinuses. The main objective
of this surgery is to eliminate infection and to
open up the paranasal sinuses for decreasing the
frequency of infections. In case of an internal
nasal deformity like enlarged turinates septal or
turbinate surgery may be done along with sinus
surgery.
