Display Design

• Both the phones sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display
  and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
• The Moto G4 Plus is an all-plastic smartphone,
  the Moto M is all-metal in comparison.
• Both the smartphones come with a fingerprint
  sensor but with different placements. In the Moto
  G4 Plus, it is on the front, while in the Moto M
  it lies on the rear.

Processor Memory

• The Motorola Moto M is powered by 2.2GHz
  octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor. It comes
  with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is
  further expandable via a microSD card slot.
• The Motorola Moto G4 Plus is powered by 1.5GHz
  octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. It
  is available in two options 2GB RAM and 16 GB
  internal memory, and 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal
  memory. The phone supports the memory storage
  expansion via a microSD card.

  16-megapixel camera

  5-megapixel whereas Moto M have 8-megapixel

  G4 Plus is backed by a smaller 3,000mAh battery.

• The Moto G4 Plus is on sale at Rs 13,499 and Rs
  14,999 respectively. On the other hand, the Moto
  M has been priced Rs and Rs. for its variants.

Final verdict

• Both smartphones are almost same but the recently
  launched Moto M looks better as compared to Moto
  G4 Plus with its all-metal body and slightly
  improved specs, so if you are planning to buy
  mid-range smartphone we suggest Moto M over Moto
  G4 plus.
