Dr. Ronald Whitford is a successful veterinarian
having more than 4 decades of experience under
his belt. He is the Chief of Staff at St.
Bethlehem Animal Clinic where he provides
personalized care to the pets. He believes for
the pet to live a healthy and long life, it
should be given highest level of veterinary care.

Dr. Ronald Whitford is the Chairman of Montgomery
County Regional Airport Authority/Clarksville. He
has served as the Chairman of the
Clarksville/Montgomery County Board of Education
for 4 years, and four years as a regular member.
He is also associated with various renowned
organizations such as Tennessee Veterinary
Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical
Association, member of the Animal Shelter Board,
and a veterinary member of the Tennessee Health
Department Board.

Dr. Ronald Whitford majored in Animal Science
Biology at the University of Tennessee. He
immediately began his veterinary studies due to
early acceptance to the Auburn University School
of Veterinary Medicine. He successfully graduated
at the top 10 percent of his class, with a
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He specializes
in the areas of dermatology, surgery, and feline
medicine. In addition to this, he is a nationally
recognized writer, speaker, the primary surgeon
for St. Bethlehem Animal Clinic, and a consultant
within the veterinary profession.

Dr. Ronald Whitford also provides shelter for a
poodle named Lucy, three inside cats named
Clarabelle, Hazel, Gerty, and two outside cats
named Ashley and Melanie. He says that practicing
veterinary medicine is a vocation as well as his
hobby. He is also a member of a non-profit
organization, Angel Flights, which provides
flights for the people in medical need and
transplant.
