About Us

• Gannan Medical University is located in the small
  city of
• Ganzhou, Jiangxi is a university of medical
  sciences. It has a beautiful campus surrounded by
  natural environment covers 760,000 ?. GMU was
  established in April 1941 and has made many great
  contributions in education and has trained more
  than 30,000 health workers in the country and
  abroad till now. Also, it has got the recognized
  by World Health Organization, Ministry of
  Education, P. R. China, UNESCO and Chinese
  Medical Association.

History

• Back in date 1941, it was founded as a
  Ganxian Advanced Midwifery Vocational School of
  Jiangxi province and later in August 1958, it was
  developed to Gannan Medical Technical School. In
  April 1988, the technical school update to Gannan
  Medical University. It was evaluated to be an
  excellent for bachelor level teaching in 2007 by
  the Ministry of Education of China.

GMU is leaning to main in medicine and harmonize

The university offers mainly major college and 19
bachelor degree covering Medicine, Engineering,
Law, Literature, Management, Science, Education
etc, 16 schools such as School of Clinical
Medicine, School of Basic Medicine Sciences,
School of Pharmacy, School of Information
Engineering, School of Humanities and Social
Sciences, School of International Education,
School of Rehabilitation and School of Nursing.
