Do you know young people are almost three times
more likely to be unemployed than adults? They
are continuously exposed to lower quality of
jobs, greater labour inequalities, and longer and
more insecure school-to-work transitions. The
worst significant of these facts are women that
are more likely to be underemployed or
under-paid. Thats why education especially
skill education is the key determinants of
success. Unfortunately, the existing system is
unable to overcome this pain. To address the
learning requirements of youngsters, WorldSkills
recognise the World Youth Skills Day every year
and this year it was on 15th July, 2017.

WorldSkills was founded in 1950. It is a global
hub for getting the skill training and
excellence. It provides a platform to bring
youth, industries, and educators together to give
youth the chance to compete, learn and get the

footsteps of our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra
Modi to make India a Skill India, Orane
reaffirmed the pledge on World Youth Skills Day
