Hiking to the French Valley is hard work but the
vista that opens up is devastatingly magnificent,
the likes of which are not found anywhere in the

mist, sun on the cliffs and the lakes is sheer

Glacier Grey
Glacier Grey is natures presentation in a
stunning display of blue ice blocks. Walking on
the glacier is an experience all by itself as is
the trip by boat to this place.   Salto
Grande The cool and blue ice of Grey Glacier
gives way to turbulent torrents of water at the
Salto Grande Waterfall on the Paine River close
to the Cuernos. If the view is gorgeous the
strong winds can literally sway you as will the
colors of the sky and earth.

Wildlife/Water
Wildlife lovers will find the flora and fauna
across the W-trek unique and charming enough to
make them wish to return. It is a joy to watch
the guanacos and nandus and the occasional puma.

Torres every year. Water is present in all its
form ranging from the frozen ice on the glacier
to mist in the waterfalls, cool blue lakes and
