Creating a budget helps you in many ways it
helps you to save for your goals, helps you to
take control of your finances or also lets you
get out of debt. It is considered to be a great
way to stay on top of your spending and makes
sure that you dont misspend more than you earn.
Sticking to the budget that youve planned helps
you to control your expenses and lets you focus
on your goal. There are many ways to plan your
budget, but you should be sure that it gives
substantial results. Here I am going to tell you
some ways for planning up a realistic budget that
helps you to reach where you want to be.
4
  • Add up your Net Income
  • Begin by jotting down how much money you earn
after paying your taxes and other deductions such
as, pay checks, student loan, government
subsidies, etc. And then add the rest of your
income to know how much you bring home each
month. This will give you the rough idea of what
you might expect to earn in the next month.
  •
  • Calculate your Expenses
  • In this step, you need to calculate your
spending. By doing this you will get to know that
where you spend the most. There are two types of
expenses fixed and variable expenses. Fixed
expenses remain relatively stable each month,
while variable expenses fluctuate each month.
After identifying your expenses you will know
where it might be easiest to cut back.

Set your Goals Having a goal makes it easier to
stick to your budget and helps you to measure
your success or failure in meeting it. Whatever
your goal is, make sure you set a smarter goal
that is specific, measurable and achievable.
Make a Plan By compiling your fixed and
variable expenses you get a rough idea of where
to spend in the next month. As for variable
expenses you need to look at your past spending
habits as a guide. This is how you are going to
understand the things you need and things you
want.
6
Keep Checking in The last step requires you to
check your budget on a regular basis to make sure
you are on track. Before spending on variable
expenses, it will cause you to think twice. When
youll see the improvements and record that
youve met your goal, you will feel satisfied and
motivated. Source https//myspendingplan.ne
