Coral Strand Hotel is located on Mahe the
largest and the most visited Seychelles island.

of Victoria - the smallest capital in the world.

Conception is located nearby - the most important
religious landmark of the island and a unique
architectural monument.
5Mahe Sights
6 Art lovers will enjoy the Craft Village area, a
peculiar artisan village where the best craftsmen
of the island present their products. While
walking through the capital, you should
definitely look into the miniature Historical
Museum and stroll through the beautiful Botanical
Garden of Mont Fleury. The garden was founded at
the beginning of the 20th century by one of the
wealthy gentlemen living on the island.
Currently, the main value of the botanical garden
is a large collection of palm trees, among which
there are very rare.
7 A very interesting attraction is the Royal Spice
Garden (Le Jardin du Roi), it was founded in 1772
and has been successfully preserved to this day,
along with the nearby estate of colonial times.
The manor has been completely renovated, it
houses a small national restaurant, a souvenir
shop and a museum, the exposition of which is
dedicated to the life of planters of the 18th and
19th centuries.
8Mahe Natural Beauty
9 In the northern part of the island is a unique
nature reserve Seychellois Morne (Morne
Seychellois), walks through which are very
popular among tourists. Impassable tropical
forests occupy a significant part of the
protected areas. During the excursion,
travelers will have the opportunity to admire the
rarest species of trees and shrubs, as well as to
appreciate the unique landscapes that have
remained unchanged for hundreds of years.

beaches, and there are numerous water sports

on the island of Mahe is Beau Vallon. In the
