Title: Seychelles treasure - Coral Strand Hotel

1
Seychelles treasures Coral Strand Hotel
In this presentation well tell you about one of
the most unusual Seychelles entertainments -
treasure hunt!
2
Pirate treasures have received a kind of
recognition even from the Seychelles post office.
The 1975 five-cent stamp of the standard edition
depicts sea robbers burrowing in a secluded place
a famous wrought-iron chest with jewels.
3
Pirate treasures buried on the islands are valued
at impressive amounts. For example, all the
hidden treasures of Henry Morgan cost about a
billion US dollars according to historians.
4
A huge treasure buried in the Seychelles pirate
Olivier Levasser in 1721. Gold and precious
stones were taken with battle on a Portuguese
ship sailing from South America. Another pirate,
nicknamed Blackbeard, Edward Teach hid valuables
worth hundreds of millions of dollars on one of
the islands off the Canadian coast
5
The world famous pirate Olivier Levasser in 1730,
on the day of his execution on Bourbon in St.
Paul (Rev. Reunion), shouted out his last words
Find my riches if you can! and threw a crumpled
scrap of paper into the crowd with a description
of where to find his treasure. The treasure hunt
was in vain. The most professional treasure
hunters believe that the wealth of Levasser
should be sought in the Bel Ombre Bay in the West
of Mahe Island. The most insistent in this
matter can be called the grenadier from England -
Reginald Cruz-Wilkins, who spent 28 years of his
life searching for it, while finding only a few
coins and trinkets.
6
In the Indian Ocean, corsairs also robbed. On the
island of Madagascar, there was a whole pirate
republic - Libertalia. Under the auspices of the
king of France, Odoul and Surcouf acted. Not
all mining was surrendered to the state treasury
by privateers, some of the treasures were hidden
on the islands. Among them are Mauritius, the
same Seychelles, Comoros and others. The
treasure hunt enthusiasts searched and are
looking for pirate treasures to this day, they
just cant find it.
7
Antique cards with supposedly marked on them
places of buried treasures appear periodically in
the world. According to legend, the same
Levasser threw a sheet of paper with strange
badges into the crowd before the execution,
shouting that his treasures would be found by
someone who could find and dig them out. The
pirates base was in the Seychelles, it is
possible that there he buried a treasure.
8
On the same islands, Jean-Francois Odoul was
hiding from the British with looted gold. On the
small island of Seychelles Moyenne, an area of
??9 hectares, there is a treasure worth
30,000,000 the local population is not looking
for it, considering that the treasures are
enchanted. People find gold coins in the sand
on the shores of the islands, which suggests that
treasure hunters use Seychelles for a reason.
9
Once in the 16th century, Seychelles was visited
by Arabs. Vasco da Gama discovered archipelago.
Pirate bases began to form on it already from the
17th century. Attacks on ships and hiding looted
treasures were common for corsairs. Maybe a
treasure on or near the shore will be revealed to
you?
