ABOUT US
SAMHI is one of Indias leading hotel owner and
asset manager with an institutional ownership
model, experienced leadership and professional
management team. SAMHI has long-standing
relationships with three of the well-established
and leading brands and hotel operators, namely,
Marriott, IHG and Hyatt. SAMHI has a portfolio of
27 operating hotels comprising 4,048 keys and has
a diverse geographic presence in 12 cities across
India, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad,
Chennai and Pune.

OUR TEAM
Ashish Jakhanwala is a founder of our company,
who currently holds the offices of Chairman,
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He
has been a member of our Board since December 28,
2010. He holds a bachelors degree in commerce
from the University of Delhi, a diploma in hotel
management and catering technology from the
National Council for Hotel Management and
Catering Technology, New Delhi and a
post-graduate diploma in management from
International Management Institute, New Delhi. He
has 23 years of experience in the field of hotel
operations, design, consulting and investment.
