something that nobody wants to feel, but
sometimes we suffer in silence and dont do the
things that we can be doing to manage the pain.
Often, we might just block out the pain with
painkillers. But this doesnt go through to the
heart of the problem.
In this article, well take a look at how you can
manage and minimize any pain that you may be
experiencing.

When you speak to your doctor, remember to be
specific about the type of pain, the areas where
you feel it, how it affects your life, and the
severity and frequency that you feel the pain.

Take Some Gentle Exercise Simple exercises such
as walking, swimming, or cycling can make a huge
difference to pain. If you are able to get out
and get some physical exercise, try to do
this. Physical activity can help your pain as it
serves to loosen any tight muscles, joints, and
tendons.

grumpy, stressed, anxious, or depressed as a

problems can make your pain worse. Make an

some of these feelings that you have associated
with pain. If you can deal with the emotions
associated with your pain, then it may make it
more bearable for you. Distract Yourself Find a
hobby that you really enjoy and get stuck into
it. Distracting yourself can help to reduce the
pain, or at least your perception of it. If your
mobility is restricted due to your pain, find a
hobby that you can easily do such as knitting,
sewing, photography, or painting. Get Plenty of

pain. However, it can be a challenge to get to
sleep at night. Try and stick to a regular sleep
routine and follow some tips to try and get a
