child, from nourishing the body to providing the
energy to grow to others. The key is to make the
right choices in terms of what to feed children,
especially preschoolers (ages 3-5).

are still developing their eating habits, and as
parents it is your responsibility to encourage
them to eat healthy and introduce them to foods
from each of the food groups grains, vegetables,
fruits, milk and meat. When it comes to eating
healthy, your child should have plenty of options
to choose from.
