  • If your company's contacts are stored during a
    Google account, the prospect of manually
    importing each of them into QuickBooks are often
    daunting. To streamline this process, Intuit
    created the QuickBooks Import Excel and CSV
    Toolkit, a free product that permits bulk imports
    of contacts and other information from Microsoft
    Excel and comma-separated values files. Google
    enables you to export files within the CSV format
    for straightforward integration with the
    QuickBooks Import Excel and CSV Toolkit or how to
    import customer or vender contacts from Gmail to
    QuickBooks.

Export Contacts from Google
  • Launch a replacement browser tab, navigate to
    the Google home page and check in to your Google
    account.
  •  Click "Gmail" and click on "Contacts."
  •  Click the "More Actions" menu and choose
    "Export."
  • Select the contacts you would like to export.
  •  Select the "Outlook CSV" format and click on
    "Export" to export your selected contacts.
  •  Click "Save to Disk" and click on "OK." Browse
    to the situation on your computer where you would
    like to save lots of your exported contacts then
    click "OK."

Import Contacts into QuickBooks
  • Download and install the QuickBooks Import Excel
    and CSV toolkit (see link in Resources).
  •  Launch QuickBooks and click on "File Utilities
    Import Excel Files."
  •  Click "Advanced Import."
  •  Select the CSV file you exported from Google and
    click on the tactic you would like to use for
    mapping the imported contacts in QuickBooks.
  • Click the "Preferences" tab and click on "Prompt
    me and let me decide" to manually approve each
    contact because it is imported.
  •  Click "Import" to import your contacts into
    QuickBooks.
