• Registry settings for Windows
• Go to your keyboard and click on the "Start" or
  "Windows" button.
• In the search bar, type "Command Prompt".
• Type "Enter" on your keyboard.
• If you type "Regedit" into the "Command Prompt"
  window, the registration window will open.
• Once you have finished typing, press "Enter."
  Select the key that is associated with error
  15227 in the "Register Editor" window.

• In the "Registry Editor" window, click the key
  that corresponds to QuickBooks error 15227. This
  is to create a backup for a key.
• To edit the registry, select "Registry Editor".
• Select "File" from the menu.
• Select "Export" from the menu.
• Once you have selected the "Enlist" option, save
  it.
• A backup will be created for the selected folder.
• Identify the backup file by giving it a name.
• Click the checkbox next to the highlighted field
  in the "Export Range" tab.
• Once the key is saved, you can use it. The ".reg"
  file extension should be used to save your key.
