•  The Foundation Stone for 24 Story IPD
  (In-Patient Department) was laid at the State
  Ownes Sawai Man Singh Hospital Campus in Jaipur.
  This Tower is going to be one of the tallest in
  India after its completion. There will be a
  helipad for air ambulances and is going to hold
  1200 additional beds for patients and will also
  have a medical martyr memorial center.

• The foundation stone for the tower was laid by
  Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday, affirming
  the strengthening of health services in
  Rajasthan. In 2019, the model Nirogi Rajasthan
  was conceptualized and implemented and state
  government is planning to bring Right to Health
  act soon which will enable every individual to
  health care services.
• With the budget of around 588 Crores the IPD
  tower along with Institute of Cardiovascular
  Sciences will take 32 months to complete. On the
  occasion Around one hundred well equipped
  Chiranjeevi Mamta Express were flagged off to
  provide medical services to expectant mothers in
  distant rural areas during delivery and for
  postpartum treatment.

• Mr. Gehlot also said that the health education
  will also be incorporated in primary teaching and
  he also announced the construction of 4 satellite
  hospitals with a budget of around 100 Crore in
  Jaipur.
• Mr. Parsadi Lala Meena, Medical and Health
  Minister said in his comments that this is
  one-of-a-kind tower in nation with
  state-of-the-art equipment to care for the
  patients. SMSH is already the biggest Government
  hospital in Rajasthan with around 15,000
  outpatients per day. These patients will be able
  to get all the facilities in single building
  after construction of the tower said Mr. Meena.
